Overview
We are recruiting a Concrete Superintendent to join our team for upcoming projects across
Saskatchewan. The ideal candidate is required to lead field operations on large-scale
construction projects. This role is responsible for overseeing multiple crews, coordinating
daily activities, and ensuring all concrete work is executed safely, efficiently, and to a high
standard.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Day-to-day oversight of concrete operations, including forming, placement, and finishing
- Supervision of foremen and field crews across one or more active job sites
- Coordination of manpower, equipment, and materials to meet project timelines
- Review of drawings and specifications to guide execution in the field
- Monitoring productivity and addressing issues that may impact schedule or performance
- Ongoing communication with project stakeholders, including site leadership and external partners
- Implementation and enforcement of site safety expectations and regulatory requirements
- Leading safety meetings, site walkthroughs, and hazard identification efforts
- Tracking progress, reviewing reports, and ensuring accurate documentation
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in concrete construction, including leadership or supervisory roles
- Strong working knowledge of concrete forming systems and large-scale project execution
- Proven ability to manage multiple crews and shifting priorities
- Confidence in reading and applying construction drawings and specifications
- Solid organizational and planning skills
- Strong communication and decision-making abilities
- Comfortable using digital tools for reporting, scheduling, and communication
- Valid driver’s license
- Eligibility to work in Canada
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
