Job Title: Multifamily Low Rise Construction Project Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Multifamily Low‑Rise Construction Project Manager with a strong background in wood‑frame residential construction to lead the successful delivery of multifamily projects. The ideal candidate brings proven experience managing 4–6 storey low‑rise builds, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive projects from pre‑construction through completion while maintaining quality, safety, and budget integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage multifamily construction projects, including schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Lead on‑site teams and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project goals.
- Oversee cost control, contracts, change orders, and invoicing.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards through regular site oversight.
- Act as the primary client contact, providing clear updates and managing expectations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
- Champion health and safety best practices on site.
Qualifications:
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing multifamily low‑rise wood‑frame construction projects.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g. MS Project, Procore, Buildertrend).
- Excellent organization, time‑management, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and team‑building skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Certifications
- PMP or equivalent certification considered an asset.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $120,000 – $135,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
