Job Summary
We’re a busy local bakery looking for a friendly and reliable weekday and weekend Front of House Customer Service / Barista to join our team. If you love working with people, making great coffee, and thrive in a fast-paced environment — we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide a warm, welcoming experience
- Take food and drink orders, answer product questions, and handle payments (cash/card)
- Prepare high-quality coffee and espresso drinks (barista experience required)
- Maintain a clean, organized front-of-house and coffee station
- Help with restocking, cleaning and other tasks
- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Must be available to work weekdays
Skills
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, with knowledge of food handling practices.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Barista experience an asset (must be comfortable using an espresso machine)
- Strong cashiering skills with attention to detail in handling cash transactions.
- Understanding of food safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when needed.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and colleagues alike.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.25-$18.50 per hour
