The Service Advisor role requires daily interaction with many customers and follow-up throughout the day, while turning customers into “fans” of yourself and Lakehead Motors.
This position requires someone who is passionate about taking care of the customer and helping them turn a service situation into a positive experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform inbound and outbound telephone calls
- Perform Service Advising – handle service related questions and concerns
- Handle warranty related questions and concerns
- Provide and maintain a high standard of customer service excellence
- Scheduling service appointments by obtaining clients and vehicles data prior to arrival
- Advise clients of the care of their vehicles and the value of maintaining their vehicle
- Provide a complete and accurate written cost estimate for both labor and parts
- Client follow up through out the day
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities
- Must be detail-oriented and have effective verbal and listening communication skills
- Must have a Valid "G" license with a clean driver abstract record
- Enjoy working with others
- Problem solving and decision making skills
- Experience in a car dealership is an asset as well as computer/software scheduling systems
- Bilingualism
- Organizational skills
- Ability to maintain and perform top level professional integrity and appearance as a Service Advisor
