Job Summary
Shelbourne Bosley's is seeking a friendly and dedicated Pet Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their pet needs and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about animals, enjoys working in a retail environment, and is committed to maintaining a clean and organized store. Duties
- Assist customers in selecting pet products, including food, toys, and accessories
- Provide knowledgeable advice on pet care and product usage
- Ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and well-maintained
- Maintain cleanliness of the store environment, including cleaning displays and work areas
- Handle heavy lifting of pet supplies and inventory restocking as needed
- Support the team during promotional events or special store activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets in the store when applicable
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or retail preferred
- Passion for animals and knowledge of pet care products is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds, continuously throughout the day)
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work weekends or holidays, or closing shifts when required
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow safety protocols
- Have open availability
