We're looking for an organized, proactive, and people-focused Clerk Typist II (Development Services Assistant) to join our team in a full-time temporary capacity until the return of incumbent.

Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and organize records, files, and documentation with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support committees by preparing agendas, recording minutes, and ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
- Compile statistics, maintain databases, and assist with records management and reporting.
- Jump in where needed and support colleagues across the organization as part of a collaborative team environment
- Prepare reports, letters, agendas, meeting packages, notices, minutes, and other business documents.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 graduation or equivalent.
- Office Administration education or related training
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize work, communicate professionally, and handle confidential information with discretion.

Remuneration for this position is in accordance with the CUPE Local 1908 Collective Agreement, beginning at $31.58 per hour plus 14% in lieu of benefits and vacation. As a condition of employment, the successful candidate will be required to join the union and pay union dues via payroll deduction.
