Job Purpose
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Shipping Clerk is responsible for coordinating and processing all outgoing shipments to ensure products are packaged, documented, and shipped accurately and on time. This role also provides support to the Receiving team as required and contributes to maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient shipping and receiving environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare, pack, and ship customer orders in accordance with company and customer requirements
- Verify outgoing shipments for accuracy and compliance with customer specifications
- Prepare shipping documentation, labels, and related paperwork
- Coordinate shipment pick-ups and delivery schedules with carriers and freight representatives
- Maintain and update internal order and shipment schedules
- Assist with receiving and inspection of incoming materials during busy periods or as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Working Conditions
- Exposure to manufacturing-related hazards, including fiber, chemicals, and other materials
- Frequent standing, bending, and movement throughout the facility
- Occasional work at heights, including climbing stairs or ladders
- Regular lifting and handling of materials up to 50 lbs.
- Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety procedures
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
