Koala Insulation of Durham is looking for a motivated, dependable individual who wants to learn a skilled trade and grow with our company.

Our team helps homeowners and businesses improve energy efficiency, comfort, and home performance through professional insulation services. We are proud partners with organizations including RONA and Enbridge and continue to expand throughout Durham Region and surrounding areas.
What You'll Do
- Assist experienced installers with residential and commercial insulation projects.
- Load, unload, and prepare materials, equipment, and tools.
- Install batt insulation, blown-in fiberglass, and cellulose after training.
- Assist with insulation removals and job site preparation.
- Help maintain clean, safe, and organized work sites.
- Operate equipment safely after receiving training.
- Drive company vehicles to and from job sites when required.
- Perform daily equipment cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Provide professional, courteous service to customers.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario G-Class driver's licence.
- Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents, traffic violations, or licence suspensions.
- Must be insurable under the company's commercial vehicle insurance policy.
- Experience driving commercial vehicles (cube vans, cargo vans, work trucks, etc.) is considered a strong asset.
- Construction, roofing, framing, insulation, drywall, HVAC, or other trades experience is an asset but not required.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs regularly.
- Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces.
- Comfortable working on ladders and at heights.
- Able to work in hot, dusty, and physically demanding environments.
- Able to stand, bend, kneel, crawl, and climb throughout the workday.
