We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to lead the development of our ERP and business systems while helping shape the technology foundation that supports our continued growth.
Position Overview
As our Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and support cloud-based web and mobile applications that streamline operations and connect office and field teams. Working directly with leadership, you will transform business requirements into secure, scalable software solutions while contributing to the evolution of our broader technology landscape.
Beyond software development, you will play an important role in the administration and continuous improvement of the company's business systems, Microsoft 365 services, cybersecurity, and technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development & Business Systems
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain the company's ERP platform and related business applications.
- Develop web and mobile applications supporting inventory, asset management, purchasing, fleet, logistics, quality systems, financial processes, and field operations.
- Work directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate operational processes into practical software solutions.
- Design scalable system architecture, databases, APIs, integrations, and cloud-hosted solutions.
- Develop secure, maintainable, and well-documented applications following software development best practices.
- Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems, including accounting, reporting, and operational software platforms.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, debugging, optimization, and ongoing system enhancements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, specifications, standards, and user training materials.
- Provide application support, training, and technical guidance to end users across the organization.
- Research and recommend new technologies, tools, and system improvements to support business growth and operational efficiency.
Software Development & Business Systems
- Administer and support the company's Microsoft 365 environment, including user management, licensing, security, Teams, SharePoint, and related services.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning, device setup, software deployment, and access controls.
- Develop and maintain IT security, backup, data retention, and disaster recovery processes.
- Monitor endpoint security, device compliance, software updates, and cybersecurity controls.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors, consultants, and service providers as required.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for company hardware, software, mobile devices, and business systems.
- Maintain IT asset inventories, technology documentation, and system records.
- Recommend and implement improvements to the company's technology infrastructure and security posture.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated portfolio of completed software projects or enterprise applications.
Experience
- 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience.
- Experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining production business applications.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate operational processes into software solutions.
- Experience developing cloud-based web applications and APIs.
- Experience designing and maintaining relational databases and application data models.
- Experience developing and supporting software throughout its full lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing support.
- Experience working independently and making technical decisions with limited oversight.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in modern backend development frameworks and languages.
- Strong proficiency with frontend web application development.
- Experience with database design, data integrity, reporting, and performance optimization.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with cloud hosting environments and application deployment practices.
- Experience with source control, testing, and software documentation.
