Carpenter – Restoration & Insurance Repair (Full-Time)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our restoration team on a full‑time basis. This role involves performing structural and finish carpentry on residential and commercial restoration projects, often following insurance claims. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail‑oriented, comfortable working in damaged environments, and able to respond to emergency calls when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural and finish carpentry for restoration and reconstruction projects
- Complete framing, drywall, trim, flooring, doors, windows, cabinetry, and related tasks
- Assess damaged structures and determine appropriate repair methods
- Work closely with project managers, estimators, and other trades to meet project timelines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Document work performed, including photos and notes for insurance reporting
- Participate in rotating on‑call emergency response for water, fire, and storm events
- Follow all safety protocols, building codes, and company standards
- Interact professionally with homeowners, adjusters, and team members
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of carpentry experience (restoration experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial construction
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, scopes of work, and insurance estimates
- Comfortable working in environments affected by water, fire, mold, or structural damage
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
- Willingness to participate in after‑hours emergency call outs

Schedule
