The Position:
The AI & Business Intelligence Specialist plays a key role in advancing Vision Credit Union’s adoption and effective use of artificial intelligence, with a primary focus on empowering employees in their daily work. This position serves as both a hands-on builder and organizational enabler, responsible for designing, building, configuring, and testing AI-driven solutions—primarily within the Microsoft ecosystem—while also promoting adoption, providing training, and mentoring staff at all levels of the organization. Success in this role is measured by the extent to which AI becomes embedded in everyday work, increasing employee effectiveness and confidence while supporting broad, sustainable adoption across the organization.
The AI & Business Intelligence Specialist works closely with various departments to identify opportunities, translate needs into practical solutions, and build internal capability so teams become increasingly self-sufficient over time.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity with flexible work options. The successful candidate may work from our Camrose or Wainwright locations, remotely, or through a hybrid work arrangement.

The Person:
- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence Engineering, Cyber Security or a related discipline, or an acceptable combination of education and relevant experience.
- Maintain current knowledge of AI trends, tools, and best practices, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft 365 applications, Power Automate, data analytics, Power BI and Copilot technologies
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
Compensation:
- Salary range $80,000 to $98,000/annually.
