Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager (QSR) to oversee daily operations at our quick-service restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service and restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, managing inventory, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. The Restaurant Manager will play a key role in driving operational excellence and fostering a positive team culture.
Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling procedures
- Manage POS systems including Micros POS to process transactions accurately
- Lead team management activities such as interviewing, hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food quality and cleanliness
- Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cash handling duties
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment
- Address customer concerns promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Implement operational policies to improve efficiency and service quality
- Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, hospitality, and leadership
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest interactions professionally
- Leadership skills with experience in team management, interviewing, and training staff
- Background in food handling, hospitality, or hotel industry is a plus; barista or kitchen experience is advantageous
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Previous experience in quick-service restaurants (QSR) preferred
