Position Summary
The Blow Mold Technician/Operator will play a critical role in enhancing production quality, equipment efficiency, and workplace safety at Chrysalis. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position involves operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting blow molding equipment to ensure consistent, high‑quality output. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, mechanically inclined, safety‑focused, and proactive in supporting a positive and efficient work environment.
What You’ll Do!
Operate and monitor blow molding equipment: Produce plastic products, including starting, running, adjusting, and shutting down machines and auxiliary systems.
Set up and adjust machinery: Configure mechanical and program settings, changing molds, and modifying neck sizes to meet product specifications.
Maintain product quality: Inspect finished items, making real‑time adjustments, and completing downtime and production reports.
Perform preventative and intermediate maintenance: Use hand, power, and air tools to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
Support training and team efficiency: Assist in training packers and operators once fully trained and helping coworkers resolve production issues.
Communicate and prioritize effectively: Coordinate with supervisors, addressing production issues, and following schedules to meet deadlines.

Strong commitment to safety and quality: Consistently follows safety protocols, identifies hazards proactively, and ensures all products meet established quality standards before leaving the line.
Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with industrial equipment: Able to understand machine functions, perform adjustments, and learn new equipment quickly with hands‑on accuracy.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently: Diagnoses issues during production, makes timely corrections, and minimizes downtime without requiring constant supervision.
Strong communication and teamwork skills: Communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers, support team efficiency, and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment: Stay focused under pressure, manages multiple tasks at once, and maintains accuracy and consistency during high‑volume shifts.
Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail: Dependable in attendance, thorough in completing tasks, and committed to producing high‑quality work every shift.
Skills and Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Prior experience in manufacturing, machine operation, or blow molding preferred.
Technical skills: Mechanical troubleshooting, equipment operation, tool usage.
Knowledge: Safety procedures, production processes, quality control standards.
