Indian Chef – Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Indian cuisine, excellent leadership skills, and solid experience in kitchen operations. Experience in South Indian cuisine will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare authentic Indian dishes including Tandoor, Indo-Chinese, and Indian curries (North & South Indian styles)
- Demonstrate strong hands-on expertise in Tandoor cooking
- Prepare Roomali Roti, kebabs, tikkas, and a variety of Indian breads
- Oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Develop and innovate new menu items while maintaining consistency in quality and taste
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff
- Manage inventory and ensure timely ordering of supplies
- Maintain strict compliance with health, hygiene, and food safety standards
- Collaborate with management for events, promotions, and catering menus
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef or similar role
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Tandoor experience in India
- Strong expertise in Tandoor, Roomali Roti, kebabs, tikkas, and Indian breads
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine and kitchen operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Culinary certification or degree (preferred, not mandatory)

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
