Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations and lead our team to success. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a proven track record in retail or store management. This role involves strategic planning, team supervision, customer service excellence, and operational oversight to ensure the store meets its sales and service goals. Bilingual abilities and experience in marketing or merchandising are highly valued. The Manager will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment, managing budgets, and implementing training initiatives to develop staff capabilities.
Duties
- Lead and supervise store staff, ensuring high levels of customer service and operational efficiency
- Oversee daily store operations including merchandising, pricing, inventory management, and POS transactions
- Manage recruiting efforts, conduct interviews, and facilitate onboarding processes for new employees
- Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks to maintain accurate records
- Develop sales strategies and marketing plans to increase store traffic and revenue
- Monitor sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Manage budgeting processes to ensure financial targets are met while controlling costs
- Conduct training & development sessions to enhance team skills in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service
- Oversee cash handling procedures, cashiering activities, and ensure compliance with company policies
- Coordinate purchasing activities to maintain optimal stock levels and vendor relationships
- Implement promotional campaigns and oversee pricing strategies to maximize profitability
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, leadership, and conflict resolution
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities (multilingual) are a plus
- Demonstrated expertise in sales management, merchandising, marketing, and customer service
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively under pressure
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff
- Knowledge of budgeting, purchasing, pricing strategies, and sales analysis
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
- Exceptional math skills for financial calculations and inventory management
- Good phone etiquette and organizational skills for effective communication with clients and team members
