On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence - Microsoft Power BI, Power Platform & Azure Databrick for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

The project focuses on enhancing the data, business intelligence, and analytics strategy for Global Transaction Banking across North America. It involves the development of payment insights, scorecards, and data models using Microsoft Power BI, Power Platform, and Azure Databricks.
Data Analyst, Business Intelligence - Microsoft Power BI, Power Platform & Azure Databrick - Responsibilities:
- Lead data and analytical workstreams in collaboration with GTB Payments Transformation, technology, and product teams
- Develop end-to-end future-state reports for GTB payments operations
- Partner with business teams to gather requirements and visualize target state views
- Build data pipelines and lineage for sustainable reporting
- Collaborate with Enterprise Data Lake partners to build data infrastructure
- Provide analytics and insights to drive efficiency, execute migration mandates, and improve customer experience
- Champion new technology solutions and act as a center of excellence for data analytics
- Innovate automation and reporting tools for sales, payments, and product teams
- Lead training sessions on new feature launches and technical enhancements
Data Analyst, Business Intelligence - Microsoft Power BI, Power Platform & Azure Databrick - Mandatory Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or insights roles
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform
- Strong understanding of ETL processes, data mining, and cleansing
- Strong analytical skills to identify unusual numbers and trends
- Proficiency with Excel and other MS products
Data Analyst, Business Intelligence - Microsoft Power BI, Power Platform & Azure Databrick – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Master’s degree or MBA
- Experience with Azure Databricks, GCP
- Previous experience with large-scale transformational projects
Data Analyst, Business Intelligence - Microsoft Power BI, Power Platform & Azure Databrick – Assignment Length:
This is a 1-year contract position with a possibility of extension and conversion to FTE.
