Overview:
We are seeking a skilled LEAD PLUMBER to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste disposal in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will ensure that installations and repairs/maintenance are completed efficiently, safely, and up to code, while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of plumbers to complete jobs on time
- Read and interpret blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts
- Underground plumbing for residential/commercial jobs
- Rough-in plumbing for Residential/ Commercial jobs
- Assemble fittings and valves for installation
- Install pipes and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and more
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure installations meet company standards and customer expectations
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installations
- Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, and other professionals on job sites
- Maintain accurate records of installation activities and materials used
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations
- Requirements:
- Proper licensing with 5+ years of experience
- 3 year apprenticeship would be a bonus
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions
- Valid driver’s license is a must
