The Role
We are looking for a reliable and organized Freight Broker 3PL Logistics Supervisor to join our team in Winnipeg. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys a varied workday and is eager to be a key player in the daily success of a growing local business.
This is an opportunity to learn the logistics industry from the ground up. The ideal candidate is a motivated, detail-oriented self-starter who is ready to learn and contribute to a wide range of functions.
No advanced degree is necessary—we believe in hiring for attitude and aptitude and are fully prepared to train the right person. Ideally, this position will develop into a supervisory or management role with the growth of the business and of the successful candidate.
Ideally, with a combination of previous experience and/or on the job training, this position will grow to encompass the supervision or management of 2 key functions: 3PL Brokerage operations across North America, and of Winnipeg-based Warehouse Operations. Each serve a diverse portfolio of clients, and each have unique requirements.

3PL Freight
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities will Include:
- Consulting with customers to understand the unique requirements and scope of their shipments
- Consulting with carriers to understand and vet their capability, capacity, credibility, and cost
- Promptly and competitively quote customers for quality service meeting their requirements
- Tracking, troubleshooting, and communicating progress updates through the life cycle of the shipment.
- Ensuring safety and compliance of the Company and our carriers
- Develop and maintain good professional relationships with both customers and carriers
- Update, manage, and report on TMS software and other databases for Company and carrier performance metrics
Warehouse
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities will Include:
- Entering and updating orders, scheduling appointments, processing paperwork
- Shipping and receiving functions
- Loading and unloading vehicles of all kinds, using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Pick and Pack
- Inventory counts
- Update, manage, and report on WMS software and other databases for Company performance metrics
Experience: Previous experience in freight brokerage or dispatching are highly preferred.
Organization: Exceptional ability to manage multiple schedules and requirements simultaneously and with attention to detail.
Communication: Advanced proficiency in English (written and oral) to interact with clients.
Soft Skills: Problem-solving, negotiation, tact and diplomacy. A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn and be coached. A reliable and responsible team player who can also manage tasks independently. A hands-on, "can-do" approach to work.
Technical Skills: Proficient in data management (Excel/spreadsheets), strong familiarity with software, apps, etc…
