Maple Downs Golf & Country Club is currently growing its turf maintenance team and looking to fill seasonal positions with immediate openings. We’re looking for reliable team members who are available for early morning shifts on both weekdays and weekends, with availability extending through at least November 1.
Position Summary
Working within the Grounds & Greens team, you’ll help maintain the golf course to a high standard throughout the season.

Main Duties
- Maintain greens, tees, fairways, and rough through regular mowing and upkeep
- Prepare and maintain bunkers
- Operate turf maintenance equipment and hand tools
- Clear leaves and debris from course areas
- Support other grounds maintenance responsibilities as needed
Schedule Details
This is a seasonal opportunity running through November, weather permitting.
Typical shifts include:
- Monday–Thursday: 5:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
- Fridays: 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
- Every other weekend: 5:00a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Additional hours and occasional schedule adjustments may be required during busy periods.
Physical Demands
- Ability to handle physically intensive outdoor work
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable standing and walking for long periods
- Frequent bending, lifting, twisting, pushing, and pulling involved
- Good coordination and manual dexterity required
Working Conditions
- Outdoor environment in changing weather conditions, including rain, wind, heat, and cooler temperatures
- Exposure to summer heat and fall weather conditions
- Work performed near large maintenance machinery and equipment
Qualifications
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping is an asset but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety standards
