Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering excellent food service to our guests. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in the food industry. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout shifts
- Follow food safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper storage
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by assisting with various tasks as needed
- Adhere to serving standards and assist in delivering excellent food service to guests
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations is advantageous
- Familiarity with the food industry standards for meal preparation and food handling
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards learning new skills in food service and kitchen operations
Pay: $18.85-$23.00 per hour
