Universal Realty Group is a Halifax-based property management company known for setting the standards of excellence in residential accommodation and commercial leasing. We are currently seeking Heavy Duty Cleaners for Park Lane Mall and Spring Garden Place.
In this role you will be part of a team who will work together to ensure that the property is well maintained and kept to a high level of cleanliness. This is a critical role in the operation of the property.
** Shifts are: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm, and 11:00 pm - 7:00 am. To be considered for these positions, potential candidates must have the availability to work any shift **
Your responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of all designated interior and exterior areas of the property
- Sweep sidewalks and pick up debris around the building perimeter
- Hose down sidewalks each morning to ensure clean presentation
- Water exterior planters as required
- Clean glass entrance doors and maintain garbage receptacles in the parkade
- Pressure wash parking garages as scheduled
- Clean and maintain tenant balconies
- Assist the Maintenance team as needed
- Ensure garbage rooms and loading bays are kept clean and organized
- Perform seasonal snow removal duties
- Clean and maintain all emergency stairwells
- Complete special cleaning projects as assigned
Your qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cleaner considered an asset
- Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment considered an asset
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a changing environment
