Slitting & Precision Cutting: Align and set up slitting knives to precise widths, ensuring clean, straight cuts and accurate multi-lane separation of label webs without damage to graphics or liners.
Tension & Rewind Control: Carefully manage machine tension controls, web steering, and core alignment to guarantee tightly wound, uniformly structured finished rolls that prevent telescoping or wrinkling.
Quality Control & Inspection: Perform continuous visual inspection of labels during the rewinding process to detect and flag print defects, color variations, misregistrations, die-cutting errors, or missing labels.
Defect Removal & Splicing: Seamlessly excise identified defective label sections and execute clean, precise web splices that comply strictly with customer tolerance standards and automatic applicator requirements.
Counting & Verification: Configure electronic counter systems (linear footage or label count) to match precise customer purchase order metrics; verify and log final roll quantities.
