Diversified Staffing Services, a leading Staffing Agency in Alberta, is currently seeking seeking Certified skilled Forklift Operators in the Red Deer area. Having a vehicle to get to the job site just out side of Red Deer is definitely an asset.
Responsibilities
- Forklift Operators to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse and yard.
- Able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test
- Having a FIT Test and CSO, H2S, First Aid are Assets
- Utilize order pickers for accurate selection and retrieval of items for shipment.
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
- May be heavy lifting as necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Rotating 10 hour shifts, days and nights
- Must be able to get to site, just north of Red Deer.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with Warehouse
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
