Overview
We are seeking a skilled Civil Construction Pipe Layer to join our team. This role involves installing and maintaining underground piping systems for infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, mechanical systems, and safety protocols. This position offers an opportunity to work on challenging projects that require precision, technical knowledge, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Lay and install Sanitary, Storm, Water mainline and services according to project specifications and drawings
- Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, fitting, and securing piping components
- Perform trenching, backfilling, and compaction to ensure proper pipe placement
- Conduct routine inspections of installed piping for alignment, leaks, or damage
- Follow safety procedures including proper rigging techniques and equipment handling
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools .
Experience
- Experience with trenching, pipe laying, or underground utility installation
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to Worksafe BC standards are essential.
- Candidates should be committed to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork.
Pay: $40.00-$44.00 per hour
