What you’ll do:
You will be responsible for delivering legendary service to make all guests of our Co-op feel “at home here” through:
- Cutting – Using knives, other carving tools and equipment to cut, fillet, and trim meats for our customers
- Merchandising – Ensuring counters and display cases are filled and merchandised
- Receiving – Receive, inspect and store product
- General Meat Department Duties – Housekeeping, opening, closing, sanitization of meat room & equipment and assisting with inventory
Who you are:
You are interested in customer service and have:
- Retail Meat Specialist Certificate or Equivalent training & experience
- You’re honest, trustworthy, is results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
- You are willing to work all shifts scheduled including days, evenings, holidays and weekends.
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meeting shared objectives
- You are physically able to do heavy lifting of 50 Ibs, climb ladders and kneel.
Reports to : Jamie Breitkreuz, Meat Manager
