United Gulf Developments is seeking a Mature Couple with building management experience to join our team as Resident Building Managers for one of our many rental properties in Halifax.
We are committed to providing an exceptional living experience for our tenants and are looking for a professional, hardworking, and caring people to maintain our property and foster a positive community atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for tenants, providing prompt, courteous customer service
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, laundry rooms, parking lots, elevators, and outdoor spaces
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance including basic plumbing and electrical, Appliance troubleshooting, Patching and painting
- Manage unit turnovers (cleaning, painting, minor repairs)
- Perform admin duties including email campaigns and rental increases
- Coordinate move-in and move-out inspections and manage notices as directed by head office
- Ensure building security and coordinate annual safety inspections
- Maintain detailed logs and records as required
- Report to the property manager any concerns as necessary
Qualifications
- 2-5 years experience in building or property management
- Strong general maintenance and cleaning skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); Yardi experience is a plus
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities
- Basic understanding of Residential Tenancy Act is an asset
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Alternate weekends and after-hour on call
