A well-established organization in the logistics and vehicle processing industry is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join its team. This role supports both union and non-union employees in a fast-paced environment and is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working closely with leadership and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR guidance and support to supervisors and employees
- Support recruitment, hiring, and new employee onboarding
- Assist with performance management and employee relations
- Support labour relations in a unionized environment
- Manage attendance and disability-related processes
- Coordinate employee recognition and wellness initiatives
- Maintain HR records, reports, and systems
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a unionized environment
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field
- CPHR designation considered an asset
- Strong understanding of employment legislation
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
