Position Summary
Fortress Technology is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support our Service and Parts teams while providing professional reception coverage.
This role is ideal for a recent Electronics or Electro-Mechanical graduate who enjoys customer interaction and is looking to grow into a technical service or repair role over time.
You will coordinate service activities, support customers, manage documentation in SAP, and assist with in-house technical processes and repairs as required.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Service Coordination
- Prepare and follow up on service estimates and orders
- Schedule and coordinate service calls
- Process RMAs, rental/loaner agreements, and deposit invoices
- Enter sales orders and maintain SAP records
- Support daily order meetings with accurate documentation
- Respond to customer phone and email inquiries professionally
Technical & In-House Support
- Assist with repair evaluations and product testing
- Support basic in-house repairs and quality inspections (training provided)
- Prepare service reports, certificates, and technical documentation
- Support Service and Field Technicians with documentation requests
Reception Coverage
- Answer incoming calls and direct appropriately
- Greet and assist visitors
- Maintain front desk professionalism and coverage during scheduled hours
Qualifications
- Diploma in Electronics Technology, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or related field preferred
- Customer service experience in a technical or manufacturing environment is an asset
- Strong communication and professional phone skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience an asset
- Mechanically inclined with an interest in troubleshooting and repair
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
