Responsibilities
- Perform Truck/Trailer/School Bus CVIP inspections
- Diagnose and troubleshoot truck and trailer mechanical issues
- Repair and adjust engines, driveline components, brakes, suspension systems, and related equipment
- Complete inspections, repair orders, and required documentation
- Perform both shop and field service work
- Accurately determine the nature and extent of repairs required
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment
- Assist with fleet maintenance and repair projects as required
Qualifications Required
- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
- CVIP Inspection License
- Minimum 5 years of mechanical experience
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Clean driving record for insurance purposes
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
Preferred
- Class 1 Driver's License
- Strong truck and trailer repair experience
- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
