We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Route Service Representative to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing various locations during a 4 day work week, while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and effective communication with both customers and team members.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver and pick up products to designated locations.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and care during transportation.
- Provide outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
- Handle heavy lifting and moving of products, adhering to safety protocols at all times, up to 40 lbs.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for tracking purposes.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Proven experience in commercial driving or related roles.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience in warehouse operations and familiarity with forklift operation is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong commitment to safety practices and procedures.
