Position: General Labourer (Forklift Experience)
Location: Brantford, ON
Pay Rate: $17.60–$21.00/hour (based on experience)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (plus weekend)
One of our clients is seeking reliable General Labourers to support a temporary outdoor yard project in Brantford, ON. The successful candidates will assist with emptying shipping containers filled with boxes of products and materials, organizing items, and safely moving materials throughout the yard.
Responsibilities:
· Empty shipping containers by unloading boxes of products and materials
· Move, organize, and stack materials safely within the yard
· Load and unload materials as required
· Assist with general yard cleanup and organization
· Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
· Operate a forklift safely (for the candidate assigned to the forklift position)
· Complete basic forklift inspections and report any equipment concerns
Requirements:
· Previous general labour, warehouse, construction, or outdoor yard experience is preferred
· Ability to perform physical labour, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials
· Comfortable working outdoors in hot weather conditions
· Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
· Ability to follow instructions and work independently
· Valid forklift certification and previous forklift operating experience required for one opening
Pay: $17.60-$21.00 per hour
