We are now hiring a Project Coordinator. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to project success and drive crew productivity. Our coordinators must display an exceptional work ethic that is infectious to all those they work with. They lead and motivate our construction crews to execute each project with outstanding success and quality. Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Accountable to and meets weekly with Landscapes Construction Coordinator
- Holds Crew Leaders accountable to their set performance metrics (scorecard)
- Dispatches crews daily for all projects assigned to them
- Coordinates and communicates material needs for their projects
- Reports on their project timelines and attends regular site and scheduling meetings
- Works closely with Project Administrator to ensure proper job tracking is complete and clients are satisfied
- Reports daily to the Landscape Construction Coordinator on manpower and equipment needs
- Quality control on all assigned projects
- Follows proper project close out procedures (i.e.. invoice requests, CCC & FAC inspections)
- Mon-Sat during construction season, Mon-Fri during winter months
Position Qualifications
- 5+ years of landscape construction experience and supervisory experience an asset
- Highly organized with good time management skills
- Understands and is aware of landscape construction standards within the City of Edmonton and surrounding municipalities
- Good problem-solving skills a must
- Experience with paving stone and retaining wall construction in Alberta an asset
- Proficient at operating landscape equipment (bobcat, loader, excavator, mower etc.)
- Class 5 driver’s license required but class 3 is an asset
