Job Summary
We are seeking an entrepreneurial VIP Personal Lines Broker to join our insurance team in the Ottawa region.
Note: This is a 100% commission job with a national brokerage that pays the highest commission in the industry (65% new business and 50% renewals) + 50% book ownership
There may be a salary to cover the first 4 months of your ramp-up period, but outside that, this will be 100% commission, built for performers.

Requirements:
- Valid RIBO license in good-standing (or OTL with willingness to convert)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in PL VIP to HNW clients
- Proven ability to prospect, close, and retain clients
- Strong personal network and lead generation skills
- Solid knowledge of personal insurance products (home, auto, etc.)
- Degree in any discipline or Insurance Diploma from a recognized Canadian institution.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English.
- Tech-savvy and competent in using digital tools and platforms

Goals & Compensation:
- Production GWP: $50K monthly ($600K annual)
- Broker will handle Renewals for accounts over $25K GWP
- Branch Support: 1) CSR for all Renewals <$25K GWP; 2) TSR for all CL admin/support work.
- Draw against commission available for first 3-4 months (*)
- CL Deals >$25K GWP by the Broker: 65% NB | 50% REN
- CL Deals <$25K GWP by the Broker: 60% NB | 35% REN
- GWP from Leads provided by the Branch: 40% NB | 0% REN
- Travel Insurance: 55% FYC
Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
