Cannabis Product Expert (Budtender / Sales Associate)

What You'll Do
- Deliver exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming and educational shopping experience.
- Build relationships with customers while providing personalized product recommendations.
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of cannabis products, accessories, consumption methods, and current industry trends.
- Accurately process customer transactions using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Assist in achieving store sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products that enhance the customer's experience.
- Maintain attractive, organized, and fully stocked merchandising displays.
- Assist with inventory management, receiving shipments and inventory counts.
- Ensure all cannabis regulations, company policies, and compliance standards are followed at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting retail environment.
- Work independently while contributing positively to the overall success of the team.

Qualifications
Required:
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a valid CannSell Certification.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort using POS systems.
- Basic math skills and experience handling cash accurately.
- Ability to lift and move product shipments as needed.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Assets (Preferred but Not Required):
- Previous retail sales experience.
- Customer service or hospitality experience.
- Cannabis retail experience.
- Knowledge of cannabis products and accessories.
- Experience working toward sales goals or KPIs.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
