Barista
ROOST Café is looking for a friendly, passionate, and customer-focused Barista to join our growing team. If you love specialty coffee, enjoy creating memorable customer experiences, and thrive in a fast-paced café environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality espresso-based beverages and specialty drinks
- Maintain consistency in every cup by following café recipes and standards
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment
- Deliver friendly and professional customer service
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Keep the coffee bar clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Steam milk and pour basic latte art (training provided if needed)
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to provide an excellent guest experience
Qualifications
- Previous barista or café experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate
- Passion for coffee and hospitality
- Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
- Weekend availability is preferred

Pay: $17.60 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 24.0 per week
