RefugeeRoot was established with a mission to provide care and support to children and communities in need, driven by a sense of love, compassion, and a commitment to environmental sustainability. What started as a way to help people in need has grown into a mission to build long-lasting, useful solutions that protect, feed and restore dignity.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of donors, building supporter loyalty through direct outreach and structured engagement pathways, and transitioning first-time contributors into recurring donors while minimizing donor attrition.
- Handle day-to-day operations by maintaining accurate CRM data, segmenting donor lists for targeted appeals, issuing compliant tax acknowledgments, and collaborating with marketing to produce compelling impact reports.
- Drive fundraising efforts by executing multichannel annual appeals, organizing donor appreciation events, and maintaining top transparency ratings on public evaluation platforms.
- Ensure and maintain the relationship with donors.
Qualifications Required
- Professional experience in the following fields: non-profit fundraising, donor relations, or account management.
- Proven proficiency with fundraising databases and CRM software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for drafting impact reports and communicating directly with high-net-worth supporters.
- Strong organisational skills to balance data entry, event planning and multichannel fundraising campaigns simultaneously.
