The Opportunity
We are seeking a self-driven Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) to serve as a vital engine in our laboratory operations. This is not a standard retail role; it is an invitation for a technical expert who thrives in a high-precision environment. You will leverage your specialized compounding skills and mastery of the Kroll system to ensure excellence in every formulation we craft.
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Formulation: Execute the end-to-end preparation of complex compounds, including topical pain gels, hormonal creams, capsules, and oral liquids, adhering strictly to master formulation records.
- Kroll Workflow Mastery: Lead the technical workflow within the Kroll Pharmacy Management System, from formula entry and profile maintenance to inventory tracking and label generation.
- Quality & Compliance: Uphold "gold standard" laboratory practices. Ensure all products meet NAPRA and OCP standards through meticulous weight checks, pH testing, and documentation.
- Inventory & Research Support: Assist in monitoring chemical stocks and supporting ongoing research into peptides through precise measurement and supply chain management.
- Collaboration: Work in close synchronization with the Pharmacist to ensure clinical accuracy and the timely delivery of life-changing medications.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Licensure: Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
- Compounding Expertise: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a compounding-focused pharmacy environment.
- Software Proficiency: Deep familiarity with Kroll, specifically its compounding modules and reporting features.
- Technical Precision: Exceptional mathematical skills for pharmaceutical calculations and a "right-the-first-time" mindset.
- Professionalism: Strong verbal and written communication skills for documentation and team coordination.
