Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality meals and excellent food service. Duties
- Assist with meal preparation and food assembly according to recipes and standards
- Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
- Handle food safely, adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and portioning as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Assist with serving food to customers or staff in a timely manner
- Restock supplies and ensure all necessary ingredients are available for meal service
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Experience in cooking, food preparation, or restaurant settings is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good communication skills for teamwork and customer service interactions
- Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety
Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
