We are looking for a motivated, hands-on Warehouse / Sales Associate to join our growing team.
Position Summary
This is a hybrid role that combines warehouse operations with customer sales and service. You'll help organize our warehouse, prepare customer orders, assist with deliveries and installations, and work directly with customers in our showroom. This is an active position that requires frequent lifting, moving, and organizing office furniture.
ResponsibilitiesWarehouse
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory.
- Lift, move, and relocate office furniture throughout the warehouse.
- Organize inventory and keep products properly labeled and stored.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders.
- Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
- Assemble and disassemble office furniture.
- Assist with furniture deliveries and installations when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse at all times.
- Perform inventory counts and report shortages or damages.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (training provided where applicable).
Sales & Customer Service
- Greet customers in the showroom and warehouse.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable office furniture solutions.
- Prepare quotes and follow up on leads.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and online inquiries.
- Help maintain showroom displays and product presentations.
- Build long-term customer relationships.
- Work with the sales team to achieve company goals.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or sales experience is an asset but not required.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving furniture weighing up to 75 lbs, with heavier items moved as a team.
- Comfortable performing manual labour throughout the day.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic computer skills.
- Forklift experience is an asset.
- Valid G driver's licence is an asset.
