Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista / Foodista to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent time management skills, and experience in food service environments. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and ensure a positive experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Prepare food items according to safety and quality standards, including food handling and food safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including food prep stations and dining spaces
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods through effective time management
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and transactions
- Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced environments effectively
- Experience in serving, food preparation, and food handling standards required
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
