Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Sales Counter Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing bids, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in construction estimating software, and a solid understanding of project management principles. The Contract Sales Counter Salesperson will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to build successful projects from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed project plans that outline timelines and budgets..
- Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as necessary throughout the construction process.
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals for submission to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of all estimates, bids, and contracts for future reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively negotiate with vendors and subcontractors.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Project management experience is preferred but not required.
