Role Overview
The Account Manager will support product development and turnkey projects from concept through commercialization. This role acts as a key liaison between clients and internal departments, helping coordinate timelines, product development activities, documentation, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the AVP of Product Development in coordinating product development and turnkey projects for assigned client accounts.
- Act as a primary point of contact for day-to-day communication with clients regarding product development timelines, sample updates, artwork coordination, production schedules, and launch progress.
- Coordinate cross functional communication between R&D, Operations, Purchasing, Quality, and Sales & Marketing teams to support project execution.
- Track product development progress, including formula submissions, revisions, stability testing, packaging development, and approval status.
- Maintain and update project trackers, timelines, inventory reports, launch schedules, and other project related documentation.
- Assist with sourcing and coordinating packaging components, raw materials, and product samples for development and client review purposes.
- Support the preparation and organization of product documentation, including specification sheets, submission forms, artwork files, and regulatory documents.
- Execute daily operational and sales support functions, including order processing, fulfillment coordination, invoicing support, and tracking shortages or remittances.
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding replenishment timelines, product updates, launch activities, and marketing initiatives.
- Maintain and update line sheets, pricing lists, order forms, product databases, and internal documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, project coordination, and client experience throughout the product development process.
- Support additional product development and project management initiatives as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Project Management, or a related field
- Previous experience as an Account Manager, Project Coordinator, Project Manager, or in a similar client-facing or project coordination role is preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with different stakeholders
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize competing tasks effectively
Nice to Have
- Experience in the cosmetics, beauty, or consumer goods industry.
- Knowledge of supply chain, packaging, or product development processes.
- Ability to communicate in additional languages to support diverse client relationships.
Pay: $40,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
