Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious breakfast dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a strong focus on food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. The Breakfast Chef will play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy a satisfying and memorable breakfast experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, including eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats, and other specialty dishes
- Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests in the dining area or through room service
- Handle food with proper hygiene practices to prevent contamination
- Assist with meal preparation during busy hours to ensure timely service
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages or needed supplies
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to create a safe working environment for staff and guests
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Ability to serve guests professionally and courteously
- Strong skills in meal preparation and kitchen operations
- Experience in the food industry with a focus on breakfast or brunch menus is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays as needed
