Position: Engineering Technician / Technologist
Location: Georgetown, ON
Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM Shift
Pay Rate: $20/hour
We are currently looking for a motivated Engineering Technician / Technologist . This role will support engineering projects focused on improving and streamlining manufacturing designs and processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a Technician or Technologist diploma looking to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing and engineering operations.
Responsibilities:
- Support engineering team with manufacturing improvement projects
- Assist in improving and streamlining product designs and production processes
- Work with machinery, automation systems, CAD/CAM, and robotics
- Analyze production and manufacturing issues and help identify solutions
- Assist engineers with testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and implementation tasks
- Follow engineering procedures, drawings, and technical instructions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and project updates
Requirements:
- Engineering Technician or Technologist diploma required
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering concepts
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM, automation, or robotics is considered an asset
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Pay: $20.00 per hour
