Landscape Construction Lead Hand
Beamish Landscape Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Lead Hand to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on leadership position for an individual who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well with others, and can help lead crews in the successful completion of landscape construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside crew members on landscape construction projects
- Coordinate daily tasks to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Install hardscape and landscape features, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, planting, grading, and other landscape elements
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely
- Communicate effectively with management, crew members, and clients as required
- Ensure job sites remain safe, organized, and professional
Qualifications
- Landscape construction experience is mandatory
- Ability to lead a crew and work independently
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques and best practices
- Valid driver's licence is mandatory
- Experience operating landscape construction equipment is an asset
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
