JOB: Licensed Millwright
LOCATION: Whitby, ON
RATE: base $43.00 hourly + Overtime + Shift Premiums ($1.15 for aft & nights - $1.65 for weekends)
SHIFT: 3 shifts (4 weeks of day, 1 week afternoon, 1 week night every 6 weeks & a weekend shift 4 times a year
STATUS: Full-time, Permanent
Qualifications:
· Licensed Industrial Mechanical Millwright with at least three years of manufacturing experience.
· Strong skills in welding, machining, fabrication, and industrial maintenance.
· Able to read and interpret drawings and manuals
· Blown film extrusion experience is an asset.
Overview:
· Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety policies and procedures.
· Carry out maintenance, repairs, installations, and fabrication based on blueprints.
· Troubleshoot and improve equipment to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
· Support production through preventive maintenance and flexible shift and on-call availability.
