Summary
We’re looking for a Technical Salesperson to drive new business opportunities and expand our market presence. This position requires someone who thrives in technical sales, while still being hands-on with customers and performing office duties.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets.
- Identify and engage potential clients within the construction and industrial sectors.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits to prospective customers.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with technical teams to tailor solutions to client needs.
- Track sales metrics and prepare reports for management.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to promote products.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven B2B experience in outside sales within the industrial automation or related fields.
- Work experience in the construction or manufacturing industries.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to understand technical products and convey their benefits clearly.
- Experience with CRM software such as Zoho CRM.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
- Native-level fluency in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Business fluency in Spanish and/or French would be an asset.
- Able to to travel to client sites and industry events throughout Canada and the USA (estimated frequency: 12 times per year)
