WE ARE HIRING "Compound and Trucking Manager"
Position Summary
The Coumpound and Trucking Manager is responsible for supporting and optimizing vehicle logistics operations across the Canadian network by coordinating transportation, managing inventory and allocation data, monitoring operational performance, and ensuring accurate reporting. This role collaborates with customers and business partners, drives process improvements, resolves operational issues, supports forecasting and planning, and maintains data integrity while promoting operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Supporting all operational tasks across the Canadian network.
- Monitoring compound and allocation releases and implementing action plans for discrepancies.
- Monitoring compound ground counts and footprint utilization.
- Supporting partner setup, including compound and truck contract management and enforcement.
- Forecasting and planning daily operational deliverables throughout Canada.
- Managing business partners, including HAC, KCA, compounds, and trucking providers.
- Providing operational reports to customers, including daily performance, inventory reconciliation, allocation status, and compound logistics updates through weekly customer meetings.
- Monitoring application data, including allocations, vehicle dwell, carrier performance, and compound processing.
- Analyzing and implementing process changes, including rate approvals, tender assignments, and spot moves.
- Supporting year-end inventory reconciliation with customers.
- Maintaining and supporting logistics data for other departments as required.
- Maintaining compound inventory data and inbound and outbound status.
- Monitoring WS performance with customers, identifying efficiency opportunities, and developing execution plans.
- Resolving and updating shipping records and vehicle allocations in a timely manner.
- Fostering team growth through leadership, inclusion, and respect for customer diversity.
- Demonstrating forward-thinking judgment by developing strategies, identifying risks, and taking ownership of execution.
- Applying strong data management skills with precise attention to analysis, accuracy, and detail.
Experience / Education / Certification / Knowledge
- 7-5 years of experience in vehicle automotive logistics.
- Professional working proficiency with MS Office Suite ( Word, Excel,Outlook, Power Point,Power BI, etc).
- Strong leadership and organization management skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
- Strong customer interaction with verbal and visual reporting.
- Ability to work in fast pace high pressure environment (Bilingual Canadian/Korean).
