Mr. Foundation Inc. is looking for a reliable and hardworking DZ Driver to join our growing construction team. This position involves operating tri-axle dump trucks and other commercial vehicles to transport materials, equipment, and debris to and from residential / commercial construction and foundation repair sites throughout the Ottawa region.
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and willing to assist crews on-site when required.
Responsibilities
- Operate DZ-class vehicles, including tri-axle dump trucks, safely and efficiently
- Transport aggregates, soil, construction materials, and equipment to job sites
- Load and unload materials as required
- Perform daily circle checks and maintain vehicle logs
- Ensure compliance with MTO regulations and company safety policies
- Assist crews with labour tasks when not driving
- Coordinate with Operations and Crew Leads regarding deliveries and schedules
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of trucks and equipment
- Report mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately
- Assist with winter operations and seasonal site support when required
Requirements
- Valid Ontario DZ Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract
- Minimum 4 years experience operating DZ vehicles or tri-axle dump trucks
- Construction or foundation repair industry experience considered an asset
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong understanding of construction site safety
- Reliable transportation to and from the shop/job sites
- Ability to work overtime during peak construction season
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Experience towing equipment or operating machinery is considered an asset

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
