We are currently seeking a full-time Property Accountant to join our Condominium Accounting team. This position is being hired to cover a maternity leave; however, there may be an opportunity for the role to become permanent based on organizational needs and performance.

Responsibilities:
- Complete bank reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare financial statements and various internal reports for Property Managers
- Review and verify invoices
- Enter annual budgets into the accounting software system
- Prepare balance sheets and account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Coordinate the successful onboarding and integration of new properties into the accounting workflow
- Provide financial guidance and support to Property Managers within your portfolio
- Prepare and file quarterly government remittances
- Assemble, merge and upload monthly financial statement packages to the company's online portal and electronic filing system
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 20-25 condominium corporations
- Work directly with external auditors during annual audits
- Meet multiple deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy within a demanding environment
Qualifications:
- Property accounting experience is considered a strong asset
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related filed
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service abilities
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and work independently
